PENEWO PTE. LTD. ("Penewo," "we," "us," or "our") respects intellectual property rights and expects users of the Platform to do the same.

This Copyright & Intellectual Property Policy explains:

are owned by or licensed to PENEWO PTE. LTD. and are protected by applicable intellectual property laws.

Nothing in the Platform grants users ownership rights in Penewo intellectual property.

Users retain ownership of content they create and upload to Penewo.

This includes:

  • Posts
  • Photos
  • Videos
  • Comments
  • Articles
  • Community content
  • Event content
  • Business content
  • Resume and CV content
  • Housing listings
  • Job listings

By uploading content to Penewo, users represent that they own the content or possess the necessary rights to share it.

4. License Granted to Penewo

When users upload content to Penewo, they grant Penewo a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to:

  • Host content
  • Store content
  • Display content
  • Distribute content
  • Reproduce content
  • Promote content within the Platform
  • Operate Platform services

This license exists solely for operating, maintaining, improving, and promoting the Platform.

Ownership remains with the user.

5. Copyright Infringement

Users may not upload, publish, distribute, or share content that infringes the copyright of others.

Examples include:

  • Unauthorized copies of photographs
  • Unauthorized videos
  • Unauthorized articles
  • Unauthorized artwork
  • Unauthorized software
  • Unauthorized music
  • Unauthorized educational materials

Users are responsible for ensuring they possess the necessary rights before publishing content.

6. Reporting Copyright Infringement

If you believe content on Penewo infringes your copyright, you may submit a Copyright Complaint.

Your complaint should include:

Identification of the copyrighted work

A description of the copyrighted work allegedly infringed.

Identification of the infringing material

A description of the material on Penewo that you believe infringes your rights.

Including:

  • Name
  • Address
  • Email address
  • Telephone number

Good Faith Statement

A statement that you believe in good faith that the disputed use is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or applicable law.

7. Copyright Review Process

Upon receiving a copyright complaint, Penewo may:

  • Restrict access to content
  • Contact affected users
  • Suspend accounts where appropriate

Penewo reserves the right to make reasonable determinations regarding copyright disputes.

8. Counter-Notification

If content is removed based on a copyright complaint, the affected user may submit a counter-notification.

A counter-notification should explain why the user believes the content was removed in error.

Penewo may review counter-notifications and determine whether content should be restored.

9. Repeat Infringers

Penewo reserves the right to suspend or terminate accounts associated with repeated copyright infringement.

When determining whether a user is a repeat infringer, Penewo may consider:

Penewo may terminate accounts without prior notice in appropriate circumstances.

12. Business Content

Businesses are responsible for ensuring they possess rights to all content published through their accounts, including:

  • Logos
  • Marketing materials
  • Product descriptions
  • Promotional content

Businesses may not publish content belonging to others without authorization.

13. User Responsibility

Users are solely responsible for ensuring that content they upload:

  • Does not infringe copyright
  • Does not infringe trademarks
  • Does not violate intellectual property rights
  • Complies with applicable laws

Penewo does not pre-screen all content for intellectual property compliance.

14. Reservation of Rights

Penewo reserves the right to:

  • Suspend accounts
  • Terminate accounts

where intellectual property concerns arise.

Penewo may take action even where a formal complaint has not been received.
